100% Proof Rick Santorum Not a Natural Born Citizen. Father naturalized 3 yrs after Rick was born. FOIA Response Re Aldo Santorum

Cmdr. Charles Kerchner (USN, Ret.) has doggedly checked all the major Presidential candidates’ NBC status. We all know that Jindal, Rubio and of course, “Obama,” aren’t eligible for the Presidency. It appears Romney is,  but Santorum is not.

100% Proof Rick Santorum Not a Natural Born Citizen. Father naturalized 3 yrs after Rick was born. FOIA Response Re Aldo Santorum

Why is that important, even though Santorum dropped out long ago and Romney is the nominee?

We thus have another reason the Republican Party has been trying to abrogate and ignore the “natural born Cititzen” clause instead of trying to legally amend it out of the U.S. Constitution which would be very difficult to do once the People learned and fully understood the critical national security implications of removing that clause as to who can be the President and Commander in Chief of our military. Obama is an obvious example of the national security implications of having a person who is not a natural born Citizen being seated in the Oval Office.  It is obvious the the politicians in both political parties are perfectly willing to put their personal political ambition and party politics above the U.S. Constitution and then ignore We the People when we ask them what the heck is going on.  The Republican Party has been in cahoots with the Democrat Party to ignore the U.S. Constitution and thus we got the debacle and constitutional crisis we are in now with an illegal, unconstitutional person Obama residing in the White House.  When people ask why the Republican Party is silent on the lack of natural born Citizenship of Obama answer to them — Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Bobby Jindal … and likely other (possibly Nikki Haley) upcoming Republican stars who are NOT natural born Citizens of the United States to constitutional standards and whom the RNC wants to run for President of VP anyway.  – Cmdr. Charles Kerchner

    • I queried Cmdr. Charles Kerchner, who was initially hostile to claims of Romney eligibility and has done extensive research on Presidential candidate eligibility and received this response:

      Hi George,

What is the bill number? I will research that bill if you give me the number. As far as George Romney specifically, he did not need any special bill to make him a “Citizen at Birth” since he was born to two U.S. citizen parents. It would be the same process if a child was born in Germany in a German hospital to an American, U.S. Citizen father and mother living there. George was a citizen at birth and never lost it. George was not an NBC but he was a basic citizen at birth.

It is very clear to me that the U.S. government recognized that under the principles of U.S. jus sanguinis laws going back to the founding of our nation, and rooted in natural law, that George Romney was a basic “citizen at birth” of the United States. The argument that was put up that took me a while to prove was that George Romney was a Mexican citizen at birth too under jus soli concepts. That was not true since under Mexican laws when George was born he would have had to remain in Mexico till his adulthood and then file for Mexican citizenship. George never did that. Later laws in Mexico liberalized the jus soli rules in Mexico but those were not the laws in effect when George was born there and lived there as a young lad. Read the source notes for George in the above link.

The 1940 nationality and citizenship act affirmed the jus sanguinis citizenship status of people like George, whether Mormon or not. If you were born overseas to U.S. parents you were a citizen at birth. That 1940 act is the basis of Title 8 Section 1401 which outlines who is a citizen at birth (not an NBC as the Obots say), but a basic citizen at birth.

I guess if someone wishes to dig even further for George Romney one could file a FOIA request for George Romney’s passport applications to see what one can learn in that but for me it is not necessary. I see no need to do that. Others who wish to keep pinging about George Romney can do that. I personally think at this point it is a distraction that feeds into the far left’s agenda to muddy the water in the debates about Obama. I firmly believe from my research that George Romney was a citizen of the United States at birth.

  2. Nice work! You know I wish a campaign contributor to him would take him to Court for fraud. Imagine all the dollars, 24 million in Sen Santorum’s case that was WASTED on an ineligible candidate. If he wasn’t qualified for the office he was running for the solicitation for dollars should be considered an action of fraud in misrepresenting a qualification. We prosecute pretenders of professions all the time. The action of Sen. Santorum should be considered a violation of oath and he should be removed by his colleagues for the disability and shame he has represented to the American People in actively disgracing our Constitution with the attempted usurpation. The legislative mandate for ‘natural born citizen’ has never been over-turned.

    • I think Obama owes HIS campaign contributors a lot more, including “Mickey Mouse” in Indonesia.

  3. Did anyone actually read the documents? – The certificate says that Aldo became a citizen on “August 23, 1930″

    Sloppy research helps no-one.

  4. George, why was this article not given it’s own email recounting, instead of being buried in “general ballot news” or mentioned as an old news recap above the main body of the Kentucky denial report?

Santorum had previously, in video, stated that he was an nbC and cited the one parent theory to support it! Were it not for this article, I would still be waiting for Mrs Santorum (the elder) to present Aldo’s Naturalization papers which, Rick said, she supposedly had in safe keeping.

    • Hi Pete:

This is a separate emailed blog. Not buried. All postings are indexed to most relevant states and to the general “Ballot News Blog.” Some, like this one, are also posted in specialty sections, such as “Natural Born Citizenship.”
