The Voeltz v Obama hearing on 6-18-12 generated lots of Buzz. The case was originally filed by plaintiff Mike Voeltz back in February. Larry Klayman signed on as counsel, amended the complaint and pleaded at Monday’s amazing hearing. Hear about the interesting background of this case, issues, why and how Larry signed on, what the strategy and issues are, possibly outcomes and subsequent actions, other nationwide challenges.

Last Monday, Leon County Circuit Court Judge Terry Lewis presided over a hearing on the motion to dismiss and nature of natural born Citizenship. He asked counsel of both sides to submit proposed orders coming Monday. Judge Terry is the same man who ordered Katherine Harris to stop counting ballot in 2000 (Gore v Bush case). Larry Klayman was an attorney on that case, on the winning side. It escalated all the way to SCOTUS.
The defense focused on attempts to dismiss the case on various technicalities, which is all they really have. Klayman hammered home plaintiffs arguments of natural born citizenship, forged documents, identity fraud, Florida election law and settled law. Since nearly every prior case has been dismissed, we know full well what the risks are, but this case would have to lose on something other than facts and law.
