Dear Attorney General Cuccinelli;

 

Thank you for the excellent job you did in conducting the Republican Presidential Candidate Forum, and for your outstanding analysis of the candidates and their responses.

 

I concur on all points completely.

 

As a point of great interest to many of us citizens across this nation, who look to the State of  Virginia for leadership in this area (having produced so many Presidents in the past), I have found that the Virginia CONSENT OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE-PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY declaration form (SBE-545B REV 5/11) to be sorely lacking – both in its failure to recognize that there might be ‘parties’ other than the Democratic or the Republican Parties, but that it also does not require the ‘candidates’ to state under oath that they are constitutionally qualified or eligible for the position.

 

I must assume that you are aware that Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution requires that “No Person except a natural born Citizen, … shall be eligible to the Office of President”, and that the Supreme Court has ruled in Minor v. Happersett (1874) that those citizens, born in a country of parents who were its citizens, were natural born Citizens. (executive summary attached).

 

Unfortunately, your form does not even require that the candidate state (or prove) that they are even a U.S. citizen (Mr. Obama certainly has not – and anyone who has accepted his blatant forgeries as proof of anything, is sorely lacking in judgment and discernment, and would not be fit to hold office), never mind a natural born U.S. Citizen, as required by the Constitution.

 

To show you how utterly lacking and preposterous this document is, I have attached a completed one that would apparently meet the standards of Virginia at this time, and would also reflect what many of your constituents are already aware is actually the case for the blatantly ineligible ‘candidate’ you have already accepted to be on the VA Presidential Primary ballot scheduled for March 6, 2012 – Barry Soetoro/Barack Obama/Whatever-his-name-really-is!
