Were images that formed the basis for the determination by Arabic-language experts that Barack Obama’s ring is Islamic manipulated to “fit an agenda”?
That’s the charge in a posting by the blog ObamaReleaseYourRecords.com that cites an unnamed “computer software and graphics expert.”The source contends computer-imaging software was used to deepen shadows to make details in the lighted areas “look more like an Arabic letter rather than a squiggly design.”
Joel Gilbert, who was first to conclude that the ring bears the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada, explained that the only adjustment he made to images from a 2010 Huffington Post feature was to reduce the contrast about 50 percent. His aim was to enable the detail in the ring to be seen without being overwhelmed by the background light.
In his analysis, he included a photo of the original, without any change in contrast, to show that he made no alterations in the ring’s patterns.
As WND reported in the original story, Obama has worn the gold band on his wedding-ring finger since his college years, more than a decade before his marriage to Michelle Robinson.

We don’t know all the facts:
- Is this the same ring?
- Is the inscription elsewhere on the ring?
- Do we know that it wasn’t altered?
- Did you read Corsi’s response?
- Are the photos in the Corsi reports authentic and unaltered, just “enhanced?”
- Is it in fact “an Islamic ring” which would indicate a strong connection to Islam, regardless of the inscription?

[ what does that matter? You think the fraud Obama is going to show you his ring? Hell, we can't even get the prick to show us his school records! ]

[ Which image? The Getty image shows no evidence in the raw image data of Photoshop enhancement unlike Gilbert's images ]

[ Sure did. He gave all credit to Gilbert, i.e. threw him under the bus ]

[ The images are very low res images that were tweaked with shadowing. Why not use a picture-perfect hi-res image that is clear as day? ]

[ That I don’t know because I am not a Muslim. lol… And it really doesn’t matter because Obama already has admitted his connection to Islam, numerous times. That said, if Gilbert and others only sent the images that were in Gilbert’s now scrubbed report to be reviewed then they are not getting credible images to review. Again, why not use the picture-perfect hi-res images that don’t need any enhancement or in Gilbert’s case, denhancement?

Drop dead! Corsi has put up TONS of good material on both Kerry and Hussein. Yes, he got taken in by that fraud and liar Joel Gilbert, but that only proves that no one is perfect. But if you love Hussein so much, with Thanksgiving approaching, why don’t you do a re-enactment of his great-grandmother’s 1926 holiday?
