One of the eight plaintiffs behind the Georgia Obama Ballot Challenge hearings, Laurie is one of the five Presidential candidates openly challenging Obama’s eligibility (NONE of them have been allowed on the MSM debates, NONE are talked up by any of the political parties or MSM). She is a well-educated (they don’t call her “Dr.” for nothing), very articulate, highly informed,  passionate, Conservative’s Conservative, who does her own Laurie Roth radio talk show and is a former Republican Party official. It is an excellent political show, which I have been on multiple times. When you’re a guest on Laurie’s show, you actually feel like a guest.  She brings out great discussions, which enhance the show more than one done by a less talented host.

In her Post & Email article, linked below, she explains her presidential quest and reasons for challenging Obama in court– pretty much the same as mine: she doesn’t want an illegal Marxist usurper in the White House tearing apart our country and realizes that “waiting for the election” is an unsatisfactory solution to the problem, since:

1. That leaves a year for him to continue his rampage- five years, if the Republicans are as incompetent as they appear to be right now, Hussein turns ACORN/unions loose and the courts continue to destroy our electoral system.

2. USA is setting horrible precedents by allowing the usurpation and other illegal acts to continue largely unchallenged, except by “nobodies” like us.

3. Having him declared ineligible would:

  – Stop his candidacy cold. Even if only a couple of states took him off the ballot, it would be a shock, devastating and lead to FAR more questioning/challenging.  Hence, the  news blackout.

  – Leave all of his legacy open to being nullified.

  – Also invalidate the Vice-Presidency of idiot Joe Biden, since he ran on the same ticket. 

  – Destroy most remaining credibility of the Democrat Party. So, you see why they resist.

Even if this occurred after his term ended, his “work” could still be largely erased. They might even take back the “Nobel Prize,” but don’t count on it.

We’ll settle for getting him off the ballot, but will try to run the table and go for broke!

So, why am I bothering to even write this about an obscure lady from Washington, who does Blog Talk Radio and improbably expects to be POTUS? Because she is EveryWoman/EveryMan who would stand up to the horrific things going on today.  Win or lose, she is striking a blow for freedom.  Since this web site is about Challenging Obama, I am relating this to our mission.

Because I am a Republican state delegate, I can’t support her third party candidacy. If she was running Republican, I would.  I’m a Republican now, and believe the GOP to be the only political organization capable of beating the Democrat (I will NOT call it “Democratic”) Party this November.  I also think it’s better. Not much better, mind you, but definitely better than the totally corrupt, Socialist organization that put Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in office.  Many of us remain in the party because it is the most powerful tool to use now and because we are trying to “reform” it.

Looking at the GOP presidential candidates emerging, it doesn’t seem like we are doing a very good job, since the leading candidates are retreaded, poorly disguised Progressives.   Looking at the so-called “Tea Party” freshmen Congress-critters, I cannot say that I’m proud of what most of them have accomplished. The Boehner House voted to increase spending by $7 trillion, passed some of the most oppressive legislation in the history of the nation and left unchallenged dozens of impeachable offenses by Obama.  Still better than what their predecessors did, but well short of expectations. However, I think our state and local Republican officials are the ONLY thing preventing complete financial and social catastrophe in CA, but they lose ground yearly.  

Incredibly, there are multiple Republican candidates, or would-be candidates, with questionable eligibility, or just plain ineligible, such as Rubio. 

Now, it’s only ten months until the election. Support and money are being committed. Some say that the outcome of the GOP Presidential nomination may already be clear.  The Democrats seem to be fairly clear. But, a lot could happen between now and November 6. Virtually no one thinks any third party candidates have a prayer.  In fact, many people fear those would “split the vote,” a la Ralph Nader, Ross Perot, etc.

I’ll admit that I’m one of the people Laurie was talking about, who wrote to her with my concerns about her candidacy, essentially writing it off as a “bully pulpit” opportunity, but one which she is exploiting well.  

So, under what scenarios could that possibly change? In the past, we have seen people catapulted into fame by some memorable event or accomplishment- Boris Yeltsin standing on a tank (Kerry tried that, but couldn’t pull it off), Wolf Blitzer in Kuwait when war raged, Daniel Ellsworth exposing the Pentagon Papers, James O’Keefe exposing ACORN and voter fraud.  Candidates Laurie Roth, Leah Lax, Cody Robert Judy and John Dummett have all tied their candidacies, to some extent, to challenging the Unlawful President. If this movement succeeds, one or more could break out and receive enormous publicity, if they play a pivotal role.  

There is more than a small possibility that the presidential nominees of both parties could have some very bad things happen between now and the election, causing them to drop out of the race, because of exposure of past activities and/or even failure to establish eligibility credentials. With a trail of destroyed candidates behind them, someone else could emerge. Maybe it would be someone who declined to run or previously dropped out. Maybe a fresh face. Someone who is remarkable, who did something remarkable, which was acclaimed nationwide.   It would take more than just having a name listed as a plaintiff. Stranger things have happened.  I agree that prayer would have to be an essential ingredient of such a scenario.

Therein was a summary of her platform. I went back in and read it again tonight and couldn’t find anything significant I disagreed with, except maybe the probability of actually accomplishing it all in office.  Can you say that about the candidate you are currently supporting?  I can’t, as my favorite candidates are not on the scene, weren’t as Conservative as Laurie. I’m already practicing holding my nose, to vote for the most likely candidate to eliminate Obama. The least worst. Ugh. Again.
